Towels for personal hygiene!

Some people are not at all hygienic. They tend to use anyone’s hand and bath towel and hardly care about personal hygiene. I hate such people. Last Sunday one of our far relatives from some remote place visited us. He was a far cousin of my mother. He had come to town to buy some important stuff for his shop which he runs at his home place. He needed to stay at our place for two days.

Throughout his stay, my mom made it a point to keep all his toiletries separate which included bathing soap, shower gel, hand towel and bath towel and robes for after bath. But, he had this peculiar habit of picking up someone else’s towel kept in the bathroom. It was irritating to see him using my towel the next day, when I asked him to use the towel he had been given. My mom on listening to this scolded me for mistreating him. I was shocked at my mom’s behaviour but later, she apologised saying that it seems wrong at times to mistreat our relatives or visitors.

From that day onwards, we all have started keeping our personal towels in a separate room meant to dry all our clothes. We hang our respective bath towel sets and robes in hangers and keep it there in that rooms o no outsiders should pick any of our things. The things meant for visitors are placed in a shelf in the bathroom itself. Recently my mom bought beautiful striped bath towels and a set of luxury bath towels on her anniversary. She likes to buy robes online and even I love it too!
